Just received this years schedule of major races. Sal, we should sit down and figure out if any of these races are at a horrible bad time to help me narrow it down to the ones I'll be entering. After placing second in World's last year, I am now eligible to race in a whole slew of races that I've never dared to dwell on before. I'm not naive enough to think I could every race and not die, though, it's hard to choose the ones to do.

Yesterday, some bird literally grabbed my arse while I was at the gym. I would think that the wedding band would be a sign that I'm not interested in strange women grabbing my arse, but apparently not? Then I noticed she wasn't the only one acting as if there was, quite literally, a fire in their pants. Is it something in the bloody air?

More importantly, have the hormone levels gone back to normal yet? Is it safe to go outside without being groped by a stranger?

Which, Sal, I'll have you know: I only enjoy random arse-grabbing when it's your hand doing said grabbing.

Post-Wedding Bliss. [29 Nov 2008|05:54pm]
I am staring at my journal and am unable to find words that sufficiently describe.. anything right about now.

I think I'll start with I love my wife. I love being able to call her my wife. And, yes, the shagging. Seeing as there are certain individuals who would like to be reassured that I'm shagging the bloody hell out of my wife, there you have it.

She's a fantastic shag, too, for the record.

The Bucket List [25 Oct 2008|06:44am]
Private: Nate's Bucket List )

You know how some people have a "10 things to do before I die" list? I just realised that I DON'T have anything like that. Does that make me strange? So this morning, after an early morning jog, I sat down with coffee in hand and tried to write a bloody list.

I've got nothing. What does that say about me?

Anyway, that's where you lot come in. You get to write my list. Write to me all the "must dos" before I kick that proverbial bucket, and solve my dilemma of not having a bloody list. I want a list!

I have come to the conclusion that the birds around here have lost their damn minds. I only hope it isn't contagious and I hope it isn't permanent. I do love her- it's just

Hypothetically speaking, if one was to wake up in the apartment of their ex-fiance, how many of the "we're just friends" rules does that break? And.. uhm.. anyone know how I got there last night. I don't even remember leaving the pub... let alone what I said

I... snuck out this morning. Hangover and all. Just to avoid.. well.. I don't know. Akwardness. But I should talk to her. WHAT THE BLOODY FUCKING HELL WHY DO I FEEL LIKE A HOGWARTS STUDENT RIGHT NOW? There's no reason why she and I can't be adults about whatever did or didn't happen last night. Right? Don't answer that.

I'm sorry. For whatever inconvenience I might have caused you last night. I don't even remember what I didn't- Perhaps I should do better at monitoring my alcohol consumption next time I'm out.

Er. Sorry.

I think it's about time I moved into a bigger flat.

I just spent an ENTIRE bloody week in bed. The World Circuit was bloody EXHAUSTING.

Now I'm going to spend this ENTIRE week getting pissed at pubs. Who's in?? This is an OPEN invitation which includes you, Sally, if you'd want as the more the bloody merrier.

AND BLOODY FUCKING HELL. I ACTUALLY PLACED. They say that means I've automatically got an invitation for next years Worlds, to defend my place. I'm not sure I'm going to take it, though. A) THE CIRCUIT WAS MURDER. B)I'd hate to do WORSE than this year, which means I'd HAVE to place 1st or 2nd next year or you know, that means I did worse - there's not much room for doing BETTER. C) As a returning veteran of the World Circuit I'd be under so much more pressure from my ego and pride, mostly that I'm certain the races will SEEM harder.

But, that's probably just exhaustion speaking. Because I'm STILL sore.

Anticipation! [23 Jul 2008|08:37pm]
The finalised race routes will be released on FRIDAY precisely at noon on the WWN. I'll receive printed maps by the middle of next week, with more details of the routes. Particularly where they 'emergency portkeys' are located in case something goes terribly wrong. Not that I will need them, of course.

One week from Friday begins the first race. ONE BLOODY WEEK.

Less than a month until the World Circuit. Less than a month until I slowly (rapidly?) kill myself with insane races, long runs, and crazy climates.

I must be absolutely insane, I think.

BUT BLOODY HELL I AM EXCITED. If I.. no, I'm not going to get my hopes up. The races are pretty much anyone's game, and I could win the first seven and still place dead last.

Must. Stay. Focused.

I have to admit, I am going to miss the lane during the 21 (or more) days I'm gone. As long as I don't end up dead or hospitalized I should consider this a success.

I have just received and invitation to this year's "World Tour of Brooms Racing". It's hard to comprehend how many doors were opened when I came in second on the All Around Wales race. For any of my friends who happen to be athletic orientated, particularly professional athletes, I will need to increase my training regime ten fold if I'm to have the stamina to finish a world circuit - who would like to join me from time to time in flying, running, or working out? It's much more entertaining with two.

For the incredibly fit birds of Euphoria Lane: Yes, shagging counts as exercise and is a vital part of my training. (Kidding! Sort of?)

Oi! Before you get swept up in the importance that is May Day, I have an announcement to make:

CAMERON SUMMERBY IS OFFICIALLY AN OLD MAN TODAY.

If you happen to see him, buy him a free drink. He's not pissed enough if he isn't arrested, yet! HAH.

Warded to Cam
So what I want to know is, when is the wedding? Moving in is the first step toward turning out like Stebbins and having 100 babies. You're already two behind Braeden, so you might as well aim for triplets the first time 'round to get ahead, yeah?

Hah, did you pass out reading that? I BET YOU DID. No need to deny it, mate.

EL Quidditch [16 Apr 2008|06:25pm]
ATTENTION EUPHORIA LANE QUIDDITCH FANATICS

Remember when we had those EL Quidditch Matches? Am I the only one who misses them? Probably not!

So who here is interested in joining a just-for-fun Euphoria Lane Quidditch League? I'm in the talks of an arrangement with the London Area Youth Quidditch Assocaition - to split time with them on their Pitch. This was the best option:

We form an actual League. Two, three teams (more wouldn't be a problem, but I'm figuring we're only going to get two or three). We'll only be playing against each other - this is just a leisure thing. The pitch would be ours every Sunday for six months - so one game a month with the other Sunday's available for teams or individuals who would like to practise.

If we decide to keep doing this, we can renew the contract after the six months is up.

Interested? GREAT. Let me know, we'll figure out the rest once we got enough people interested.

This is definitely a worthy way to spend the prize from the All Around Wales Race

BLOODY SECOND PLACE. HOW BLOODY AWESOME WAS THAT? I've finally returned home from the whole ordeal (who knew those who placed would have a week filled with ceremonies and interviews?)

SECOND BLOODY PLACE

It's safe to say that this has been the best moment of 2004. Sorry Cho, but it totally blows the news of our expected baby out of the water. I'm sure you and the fake child will live, eh?

I know exactly what I'm going to do with the heaps of prize money too. But that's for a later journal entry.

SECOND PLACE

No, this isn't a joke, either. And second isn't first but its damn close to it. I haven't placed this well in a major race, ever! WATCH OUT WORLD, HERE COMES NATE BLOODY CADWALLADER!

Oh, and incase you hadn't guessed, THERE WILL BE A PARTY FRIDAY NIGHT TO CELEBRATE. At Kelly's! To break the trend of all parties happening at the Black Cat lately. BE THERE. CAM, BRAEDEN, MACKENZIE, LEO, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE.

Woah boy, I think I'll go for a fly or a run or something, I'm STILL on a natural high from this!
